Role & Responsibilities :

- Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance technical architectures aligned with business requirements.

- Translate business and functional requirements into robust technical solutions and architecture designs.

- Define application, integration, database, cloud, and infrastructure architecture standards.

- Identify technical risks, performance bottlenecks, scalability challenges, and architectural gaps and recommend mitigation strategies.

- Work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Engineering Managers, Developers, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders.

- Design and oversee APIs, microservices, integrations, and distributed systems where applicable.

- Establish and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, design decisions, and standards.

- Support cloud adoption, modernization, migration, and digital transformation initiatives where required.

- Ensure solutions follow security, compliance, reliability, and performance requirements.

- Mentor senior developers and engineers and contribute to building strong technical capabilities within the team.

- Participate in proof-of-concepts (POCs) and evaluate emerging technologies relevant to the organization's technology roadmap.

- Troubleshoot complex production and architectural issues and provide long-term technical solutions.

- Collaborate with engineering leadership to define and execute the organization's technology roadmap.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

- 8 - 10 years of experience in software development, solution design, technical architecture, or related engineering roles.

- Experience designing scalable, reliable, and high-performance applications.

- Good understanding of REST APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture, messaging systems, and system integration.

- Experience with one or more major cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Good understanding of databases, including relational and/or NoSQL technologies.

- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git, DevOps practices, and infrastructure automation is preferred.

- Strong understanding of application security, authentication/authorization, data protection, and secure coding practices.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Demonstrated experience in technical leadership, mentoring, architecture reviews, and cross-functional collaboration.

- Ability to balance business requirements, technical feasibility, cost, scalability, security, and maintainability when making architectural decisions.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
