Technical Architect - Snowflake DB

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Define strategies for data ingestion, transformation, and integration across both structured and semi structured data sources.

- Develop secure, scalable, and high-performance data pipelines and data warehouses.

- Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data models and effective solutions.

- Implement and enforce data governance, security, and compliance best practices within Snowflake.

- Continuously optimize query performance, storage consumption, and cost management on the Snowflake platform.

- Lead migration efforts for transitioning existing data warehouses to Snowflake, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineering teams, sharing best practices and guiding architecture decisions.

Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong understanding of data ingestion, ETL/ELT processes, and data transformation techniques.

- Expertise in managing structured and semi-structured data within cloud environments.

- Solid knowledge of data governance, security policies, and compliance requirements.

- Ability to optimize Snowflake performance and manage costs effectively.

- Experience leading migration projects from traditional data warehouses to Snowflake.

- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a knack for translating business needs into technical solutions.

- Leadership experience and ability to mentor junior engineers.
