Technical Architect - SAP BTP

Role Summary :

Architect experienced in design, development, and deployment of cloud native applications using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) Model. Responsible for guiding development teams, defining architectural best practices, and ensuring solutions meet the desired enterprise requirements.

Key Skills :

- Design and architect end-to-end cloud-native solutions on SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry/Kyma Runtime), ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.

- Define the technical architecture for applications using the SAP CAP Model with Java/Spring Boot, including data models (CDS), services, and handlers.

- Architect robust integration solutions leveraging SAP BTP services like Integration Suite (CPI, API Management, Event Mesh), and integrate with SAP S/4HANA and non-SAP systems.

- Drive the adoption of microservices, event-driven architecture, and serverless computing where appropriate on SAP BTP.

Good to have skills :

- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, SAP DevOps) for automated building, testing, and deployment of CAP-based applications on BTP.

- Define and implement monitoring, logging, and tracing strategies using BTP-native tools or industry standards (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, SAP Cloud Logging).

- Champion Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles for BTP resource provisioning (e.g., using Terraform).

Experience :

- 8+ years of overall experience in enterprise software development and architecture.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development, preferably with Spring Boot for microservices.

- 3+ years of dedicated experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) services and architecture.
