Role & Responsibilities :

- Own the technology architecture : Design and govern scalable, secure end-to-end system architectures.

- Ensure the cloud-based platform adheres to the security, scalability, performance, and reliability needs.

- Apply context to make sensible design decisions daily along an entire continuum of monolith to micro- services.

- Advise product management on building the product roadmap and feature implementation.

- Define technical standards, frameworks, and coding best practices.

- Mentor and guide cross-functional engineering and delivery teams.

- Conduct design reviews, sprint ceremonies, and project retrospectives.

- Manage vendor and third-party technology partnerships.

- Lead project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.

- Manage full project lifecycle from initiation to closure.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

- Track milestones, budgets, and deliverables across multiple work streams.

Preferred candidate profile :

- Experience in the technology industry building web applications.

- Total 10 - 12 years experience and At least two years as application architect.

- A very deep expertise in Java and Spring and AWS (and ideally some frontend; we work with reactjs).

- Advanced knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL databases.

- Dev Ops concepts; CI/CD

- Hands on - passionate about coding.

- Believer in sensible unit-based testing - understands how to write 'testable' code.

- Deep knowledge of how to refactor code to continuously evolve the application architecture.

- Worked end-end from concept till production release and bring that appreciation into the application architecture.

- Familiarity with PM tools - Jira, Confluence, MS Project.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
