This is a senior, high-impact role designed for a pragmatic, battle-tested Technical Architect Developer Hybrid.

You will work amongst the sharpest minds in the financial fraternity to build a next-generation platform vision.

This role requires a hands-on Technical Architect who stays in the trenches. The individual will combine the absolute best traits of a technical visionary and an execution-focused leader, bringing the capability to structure robust backend engines while aggressively deep-diving into complex production environments to debug and resolve issues at the highest speed.

Key Responsibilities :

Platform Architecture & Design :

- Drive, own, and execute multiple next-generation platform initiatives.

- Ensure backend architectures are structurally designed for massive scale, extreme availability, and high performance using Java microservices and strict AI and API-first design principles.

Full-Stack Ecosystem Synchronization :

- Act as the technical design authority ensuring seamless data flow, state management, and consistency across Java backend services, React Web platforms, and Mobile/POS applications (Android & C++ kernels).

AI Development & Engineering :

- Personally lead the hands-on prototyping, design, and integration of AI/ML utilities into core production pipelines (e.g., smart reconciliation engines, fraud pattern recognition, and transaction optimization).

Production SWAT & Observability :

- Act as the go-to responder for high-priority production incidents.

- Personally drive down MTTR by debugging critical technical issues within a complex stack involving Spring Boot microservices, Docker containers, and AWS environments.

Best Practices & Quality :

- Reinforce XP practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), refactoring, and clean code.

- Devise processes and mechanisms to ensure expected uptime and platform resilience.

Stakeholder Collaboration :

- Partner closely with Product Management and clients to scope out releases, translate business goals into technical execution charts, and deliver high-quality outputs on predictable schedules without trading off quality for velocity.

Technical Skills and Experience :

Core Language & Frameworks :

- Deep hands-on mastery of Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem.

- Strong preference for polyglot profiles who can adapt to multi-language requirements.

Cloud & Orchestration :

- Strong architecture and implementation experience with AWS services, Docker containerization, and Kubernetes for container orchestration (NLB/ALB, Ingress Controllers).

Data & Messaging Systems :

- Expertise in distributed system design using SQL & NoSQL databases (with advanced performance tuning), and messaging fabrics like RabbitMQ & NATS.

AI / ML Pipeline :

- Practical proficiency in integrating AI utilities, LLMs, or foundational frameworks into high-throughput backend infrastructure.

Observability & Infrastructure :

- Live and breathe automation (CI/CD pipelines).

- Practical experience deploying observability frameworks such as Prometheus and Grafana for logging, monitoring, and distributed tracing.

Client Aware Capabilities :

- Strong baseline understanding of JavaScript frameworks (React) and Mobile development (Android/iOS) to govern full-stack technical interfaces.

- Knowledge of C++ to read or trace low-level POS code is a distinct advantage.

Qualification :

- 10+ years of technical experience in Product-Led, Tech-First companies, with a significant background operating in fast-growing Fintech or transaction-heavy payment processing sectors.

- BE / B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc. from a premier or tier-1 / tier-2 institute.

Experience Range : 10 - 15 years
