Description :
- Define high-level architecture for networking, storage, compute, and application hosting.
- Define high-level architecture practices covering multi-region networking, disaster recovery, load balancing, and auto-scaling.
- Architect CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation frameworks.
- Establish cloud governance frameworks for compliance, security, and cost control.
Implementation & Governance :
- Drive automation of infrastructure provisioning, deployments, monitoring, and incident response.
- Optimize cost, performance, and resource utilization across multi-cloud environments using FinOps practices.
- Implement observability frameworks (logging, monitoring, alerting) to ensure high availability and reliability.
Automation & Optimization :
- Define cost optimization strategies for multi-cloud and hybrid workloads.
- Continuously improve system performance, resilience, and efficiency.
Collaboration & Leadership :
- Mentor DevOps engineers and development teams, building reusable frameworks and templates.
- Establish and lead a DevOps Center of Excellence (CoE) to drive adoption and standardization.
- Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations to ensure seamless delivery.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement :
- Recommend new approaches for agility, scalability, and reliability.
- Enable enterprise-wide DevOps transformation programs.
Must-Have Skills :
- Strong background in network architecture VPC design, subnets, routing, VPN, firewalls, load balancers, hybrid connectivity.
- Hands-on experience in multi-region, highly available, and disaster recovery architectures.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Pulumi).
- Strong expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, ArgoCD, Spinnaker).
- Deep knowledge of containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm).
- Experience in cost optimization, monitoring, and performance tuning for large-scale infra.
- Solid understanding of cloud security, compliance, and identity management (IAM, RBAC, Zero Trust).
- Strong coding/scripting in Python, Shell, Go, or similar for automation and integration.
- Demonstrated experience in leading DevOps transformation, modernization, and CoE initiatives.
- Ability to define reference architectures, reusable infra patterns, and best practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and mentoring skills.
