We are looking for a seasoned Technical Architect Data Engineering who will be responsible for designing and scaling modern data platforms, providing technical leadership, and mentoring teams. The role requires strong expertise in cloud-native technologies, data engineering frameworks, and modern DevOps practices to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs) :

- Architect and design scalable, secure, and high-performing data platforms and pipelines.

- Define best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines for data engineering teams.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

- Mentor and guide engineering teams, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development.

- Lead evaluations and adoption of emerging data engineering tools, frameworks, and cloud technologies.

- Drive optimization of ETL/ELT processes to improve performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.

- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory requirements.

- Partner with DevOps and cloud teams to enable continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring of data solutions.

Skillsets & Requirements :

- 812 years of experience in data platform development and architecture.

- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.

- Proven expertise with Apache Airflow, Spark, Hive and distributed data processing frameworks.

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related data services.

- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.

- Strong understanding of data modeling, data lakes, and data warehouses.

- Solid grasp of data security, governance, and compliance frameworks.

- Demonstrated experience in leading teams, mentoring engineers, and driving technical excellence.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to design solutions for complex, large-scale systems.
