About the Role :

This is a senior, high-impact role designed for a pragmatic, battle-tested Technical Architect with strong hands-on development experience. You will work amongst the sharpest minds in the financial fraternity to build a next-generation platform vision. At Mintoak, we embrace simplicity and evolutionary design over convoluted, heavy top-down architecture solutions. We maintain a strong preference for Open Source (FOSS) and building over buying wherever viable.

Key Responsibilities :

- Drive, own, and execute multiple next-generation platform initiatives.

- Ensure backend architectures are structurally designed for massive scale, extreme availability, and high performance using Java microservices and strict AI and API-first design principles.

- Act as the technical design authority ensuring seamless data flow, state management, and consistency across Java backend services, React Web platforms, and Mobile/POS applications.

- Personally lead the hands-on prototyping, design, and integration of AI/ML utilities into core production pipelines.

- Act as the go-to responder for high-priority production incidents and drive down MTTR.

- Reinforce XP practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), refactoring, and clean code.

- Partner closely with Product Management and clients to scope out releases and deliver high-quality outputs.

Technical Stack :

- Core : Java, Spring Boot ecosystem.

- Cloud/Orchestration : AWS, Docker, Kubernetes (NLB/ALB, Ingress).

- Data/Messaging : SQL, NoSQL, RabbitMQ, NATS.

- AI/ML : LLMs, foundational frameworks, AI utilities.

- Observability : Prometheus, Grafana, CI/CD pipelines.

- Frontend/Mobile : JavaScript (React), Android/iOS, C++ (POS kernels).

Qualifications :

- 10-15 years of technical experience in Product-Led, Tech-First companies, with a significant background in Fintech or transaction-heavy payment processing.

- BE / B. Tech / MCA / M. Sc. from a premier or tier-1 / tier-2 institute.
