Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Architect with a strong background in solution architecture, enterprise web applications, and modern technology stacks. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in backend architecture, cloud-ready system design, security considerations, and frontend framework awareness. This role is critical to defining technical strategy, guiding development teams, and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.

Job Summary :

The Technical Architect will be responsible for end-to-end solution architecture, including application design, technology selection, system integration, scalability planning, and security architecture. The role demands hands-on technical depth combined with strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, and leadership across engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities :

Solution & Technical Architecture :

- Design and own enterprise-level solution architectures for large-scale web and backend systems.

- Translate business requirements into robust, scalable, and secure technical solutions.

- Define architectural standards, best practices, and governance across projects.

- Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and tools aligned with long-term strategy.

Backend & API Architecture :

- Design RESTful and event-driven APIs with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.

- Ensure optimal data flow, service orchestration, and system integration.

Frontend Architecture Oversight :

- Provide architectural guidance for frontend applications built with Next.js (knowledge required), React.js, or Angular.

- Ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.

- Review UI architecture for performance, maintainability, and scalability.

Database & Data Architecture :

- Design and optimize data models using PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

- Make informed decisions on relational vs. NoSQL data stores based on use cases.

- Ensure data consistency, performance, and availability.

Security & Infrastructure :

- Architect secure applications incorporating Web Application Firewall (WAF) strategies and security best practices.

- Address authentication, authorization, data protection, and compliance requirements.

- Work closely with DevOps teams to ensure secure, containerized deployments using Docker.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management :

- Provide technical leadership to development teams and conduct architecture reviews.

- Mentor senior engineers and guide technical decision-making.

- Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and clients to align solutions with business objectives.

Key Skills & Technical Expertise :

- Backend : Python, FastAPI

- Frontend (Architectural Knowledge): Next.js, React.js, Angular

- Databases : PostgreSQL, MongoDB

- Containerization : Docker

- Security : Web Application Firewall (WAF), secure application design

- Architecture : Solution architecture, system design, scalability, performance optimization

Required Qualifications :

- 10- 15+ years of overall experience in software development and architecture.

- Proven experience as a Technical Architect / Solution Architect on enterprise-scale systems.

- Strong hands-on background in Python-based backend systems.

- Experience designing and governing complex, distributed architectures.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Masters preferred).
