JOB DESCRIPTION :

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer with a strong background in manual testing and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies to ensure product quality and reliability.

- Perform manual testing across web, mobile, API, and database layers to validate functionality, performance, and scalability.

- Collaborate with Agile development teams to define acceptance criteria, refine user stories, and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Conduct API testing (REST/SOAP) and validate backend logic using SQL queries and database validations.

- Identify, document, and track defects; work closely with developers and product managers to resolve them effectively.

- Ensure test deliverables are created and maintained in alignment with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and techniques.

- Provide clear and concise test reports to stakeholders, highlighting risks, coverage, and overall product quality.

- Mentor junior QA team members (if applicable) and foster a culture of quality-first mindset within the team.

- Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and, where necessary, apply Business Analysis (BA) skills to bridge gaps.

Requirements :

- 7+ years of relevant experience in QA/Software Testing.

- Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing with expertise in test case execution, defect management, and exploratory testing.

- Proven experience with Agile testing methodologies and working in Agile/Scrum teams.

- Strong skills in database testing (SQL/queries) and API testing (Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools).

- Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), STLC, and QA best practices.

- Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.

- Having Business Analysis (BA) skills will be an added advantage.

- Excellent communication skills are mandatory.
