Techment Technology - Quality Analyst Lead - Automation & Manual Testing

Job Description :

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with project managers, developers, product owners, designers, and other stakeholders to define quality standards and test strategies.

- Take ownership of the end-to-end testing process including test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting.

- Perform and oversee both manual and automated testing, ensuring complete coverage of functional, regression, accessibility (ADA), and visual testing.

- Act as a point of contact for clients during QA phasesconduct walkthroughs, report updates, and clarify quality concerns.

- Ensure adherence to best practices in QA and continuously improve the QA process and test frameworks.

- Champion the use of modern test automation tools, including Testim and Postman.

- Conduct accessibility testing (ADA/WCAG) and visual regression testing using appropriate tools and techniques.

- Drive the teams delivery in high-pressure situations while maintaining quality and timelines.

- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of the agile development Process.

Skills :

- Strong experience in manual and automation testing in web and/or mobile applications.

- Experience with Tricentis Testim automation tool.

- Hands-on experience with at least one UI test automation tool (Tricentis Testim, Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress)

and one API test automation tool (RestAssured or ReadyAPI).

- Solid knowledge of Postman and API testing.

- Experience in ADA Accessibility Testing (preferably using tools like Axe, Wave, or Lighthouse).

- Should have practical experience or a solid understanding of performance testing concepts and tools.

- Must have strong programming logic and the ability to create effective and efficient test scenarios or automation scripts.

- Hands-on experience with Visual Testing tools and techniques (e.g., Percy, Applitools, or Testim Visual validations).

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Experience working in fast-paced Agile environments with frequent client interaction.

- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

- Solid grasp of tenant-based application models and multi-tenant environments.

Good to have :

Preferred Qualifications :

- ISTQB or other QA certifications.

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.

- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and test case management tools.

Desired Soft Skills :

- Confidence : Should demonstrate confidence and assertiveness in driving QA initiatives and communicating decisions.

- Leadership : Minimum 2 years of experience in leading QA teams, with a proven ability to mentor, guide, and manage team performance.

- Flexibility : Must be open to working extended hours or weekends when necessary.
