Role Purpose :

Ensure delivery of high-quality software products by leading test planning, execution, and quality assurance activities across web, mobile, and API-based applications in Agile environments.

Key Roles & Responsibilities :

- Plan, design, and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for software projects

- Perform manual testing using white-box and black-box testing techniques

- Design and execute automation test scripts using appropriate tools

- Conduct API testing and validate integrations with frontend applications

- Perform database testing to ensure data integrity and accuracy

- Execute load, performance, and security testing as required

- Conduct mobile application testing across platforms and devices

- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and resolve defects

- Participate actively in Agile and Scrum ceremonies

- Track, document, and report defects and test results clearly

- Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices

- Support continuous improvement of QA frameworks and processes

Key Result Areas (KRAs) :

- Quality and stability of software releases

- Test coverage across functional, integration, performance, and security areas

- Reduction in production defects and rework

- Timely completion of testing cycles aligned with release schedules

- Effectiveness of automation and regression testing

- Accuracy and clarity of test documentation and reports

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Experience Requirements :

- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Testing

- Proven experience in both manual and automation testing

- Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments

Skill Sets & Competencies :

- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

- Expertise in writing clear and comprehensive test plans and test cases

- Hands-on experience with automation testing tools

- Experience in API testing, database testing, and integration testing

- Knowledge of load, performance, and security testing concepts

- Experience in mobile application testing

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
