Job Description :
We are looking for a skilled and experienced AEM UI Lead to join our team and drive the development of engaging, high-performance web experiences using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
This role requires deep expertise in front-end technologies, a strong understanding of AEM components, and leadership capabilities to guide and mentor a team of developers.
As a frontend lead, youll work closely with designers, backend developers, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise-grade web solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and visually compelling.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain AEM components, templates, and client libraries (clientlibs).
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers and backend AEM developers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Leverage AEMaaCS best practices, including modular design, content fragments, and experience fragments.
- Optimize frontend code for speed, accessibility, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Mentor and support a team of frontend developers through code reviews, best practices, and knowledge sharing.
- Translate business and design requirements into functional, reusable front-end components.
- Ensure alignment with AEM architecture, content structure, and authoring practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues in AEM environments.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in frontend and AEM development.
Requirements :
- Proven expertise in Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).
- Strong knowledge of HTL (Sightly), Sling Models, and AEM authoring tools.
- Experience with modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and frameworks like React or Angular.
- Deep understanding of AEM clientlibs, frontend performance optimization, and responsive design.
- Familiarity with AEM Headless capabilities (Content Fragments, GraphQL, SPA Editor).
- Experience with Git, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD workflows.
- Strong communication and team leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience working with AEM Headless and Single Page Applications (SPAs).
- Exposure to AEM Cloud Manager, including pipelines and environment setup.
- Familiarity with Adobe Target, Launch, or other Adobe Experience Cloud tools.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
