TECEZE - Snowflake Architect - Python/SQL

Job Role : Snowflake Architect

Location : Chennai

Mode : Onsite Fulltime

Key Responsibilities :

- Architecture & Setup : Design and deploy scalable Snowflake environments with best practices in RBAC, security policies, and external access.

- Iceberg Integration : Implement and manage Apache Iceberg catalogs with ADLS Gen2 integration.

- External Storage Access : Configure external tables and storage integrations for ADLS Gen2, AWS S3, and GCS.

- Data Ingestion & Streaming : Build real-time and batch pipelines using Snowpipe, Dynamic Tables, and modern ETL frameworks.

- CI/CD Automation : Automate Snowflake deployments, schema changes, and workflows using Terraform, dbt, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

- Advanced Development : Utilize Snowflake Notebooks and develop Snowpark applications in Python, Java, or Scala for ML and complex transformations.

- Security & Compliance : Enforce enterprise-grade security using Okta SSO, OAuth, RBAC, and network policies.

- Monitoring & Alerts : Integrate with Azure Event Grid, AWS SNS, or cloud-native tools for alerting and event-driven actions.

- Optimization : Monitor and tune query performance, warehouse usage, and cost efficiency.

- Documentation : Establish architectural standards and best practices across automation, security, and performance.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Snowpark APIs

- Experience with Iceberg Catalogs, Snowflake Notebooks, and external cloud storage (ADLS Gen2, S3, GCS)

- Deep knowledge of CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, dbt, and DevOps pipelines

- Hands-on with Snowpipe, Dynamic Tables, and real-time/batch ingestion workflows

- Strong performance tuning and cost optimization expertise

- Familiar with Okta SSO, OAuth, federated auth, and cloud security

- Multi-cloud experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP
