Role : SAP Infrastructure Deployment & Site Readiness Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Infrastructure Deployment & Site Readiness Lead to coordinate and execute end-to-end IT infrastructure activities across SAP implementation sites.

The role involves detailed planning, technical coordination, execution of hardware/network readiness, testing, and cutover support for SAP go-lives.

The candidate must possess strong technical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills to drive successful site preparation and post-go-live stabilization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Coordinate with global network teams and site contacts for accurate data collection.

- Prepare and submit TG0 deliverables to the SAP IT Lead for approval.

- Engage with Business Process Owners (BPOs) and Super Users to gather infrastructure requirements.

- Prepare and finalize Bill of Materials (BOM) and assist with CapEx cost estimation.

- Support SAP IT Lead in vendor identification, BOM sharing, and cabling requirements.

- Obtain and validate hardware quotes for Drop 1 (UAT) and Drop 2 (production).

- Prepare and present TG1 deliverables for SAP IT Lead approval.

- Coordinate with SAP IT Lead to Place orders for first drop delivery and Ready the SAP office infrastructure for UAT.

- Track hardware shipments and update delivery & deployment plans.

- Install, configure, and validate all IT hardware as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

- Conduct IQ (Installation Qualification) and OQ (Operational Qualification) for new hardware.

- Finalize scope and plan for System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

- Collaborate with SI Manager on Knowledge Transfer (KT) and Service Transition activities.

- Submit hypercare resource plan aligned with infrastructure scope.

- Work closely with technical teams on Cutover readiness planning.

- Track daily cutover status and represent infrastructure updates in daily calls.

- Collaborate with Cutover Manager to mitigate infrastructure risks.

- Monitor hypercare phase and ensure RCA is completed for P1/P2 incidents.

- Facilitate seamless handover to BAU support teams.

- Capture and document lessons learned and upload all final project documents to SharePoint.

- Track vendor SOW deliverables and validate invoice submissions and milestone payments.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Understanding of LAN/WAN architecture and cabling standards.

- Familiarity with Wi-Fi survey tools and report interpretation.

- Exposure to network hardware: Cisco/Aruba switches, APs, routers.

- Basic hardware configuration and troubleshooting.

- Experience with SAP implementation infrastructure requirements is highly preferred.

- Experience managing infrastructure readiness in SAP rollouts or large-scale IT deployments.

- Proficient in documentation and process tracking.

- Familiarity with IQ/OQ/SIT/UAT methodologies.

- Vendor management and coordination for hardware and cabling.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications : ITIL Foundation, PMP.

- SAP environment exposure or infrastructure lead role in SAP rollout projects is a strong plus
