About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Routing & Switching (R&S) Network Engineer to design, implement, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructures.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of networking protocols, best practices, and experience working with Cisco or equivalent network hardware in high-availability environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure (LAN/WAN).

- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls (primarily Cisco, Juniper, or HP).

- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime.

- Implement and maintain network security and access controls.

- Work with cross-functional IT teams to support new deployments and resolve issues.

- Perform network upgrades, patching, and firmware management.

- Maintain documentation for network topologies, configurations, and procedures.

- Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- 3+ years of experience in network engineering, focusing on routing and switching.

- Strong understanding of networking concepts : TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, NAT, ACLs, QoS.

- Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches.

- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark).

- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex networking issues quickly and efficiently.

- Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Cisco certifications : CCNA, CCNP (preferred).

- Experience with SD-WAN, MPLS, and network automation tools.

- Knowledge of firewalls and VPN technologies (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet).

- Experience in enterprise or data center environments.
