Role : Junior Project Manager
We are seeking a Junior Project Manager with 3+ years of experience in managing IT or software development projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project management methodologies, excellent coordination and communication skills, and a solid technical background to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone looking to grow into a senior project or program manager in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Work closely with engineering, QA, design, DevOps, and business teams to define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and dependencies.
- Track progress using project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Identify risks, issues, and bottlenecks, and work proactively to resolve them with
stakeholders.
- Ensure all project documentation (SOWs, charters, roadmaps, etc.) is updated and accurate.
- Communicate project status and updates to leadership and external clients (if applicable).
- Assist in resource planning, effort estimation, and allocation of tasks across teams.
- Ensure adherence to project governance, quality standards, and internal processes.
Technical Requirements :
- Exposure to software development lifecycle (SDLC) and common technology stacks.
- Comfortable working with technical teams and understanding software development
concepts like version control, CI/CD, APIs, QA testing, and deployments.
- Proficiency in project management tools.
- Experience with generating and interpreting project metrics, velocity reports, and dashboards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
