BMC Helix ITSM Administrator :
We are seeking an experienced and self-driven BMC Helix ITSM Administrator to join our ITSM operations team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in administering, customizing, and supporting BMC Helix ITSM (both SaaS and On-Premise), with a strong understanding of multi-tenancy platforms, BMC modules, and workflow configurations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide L2-level support and administration for BMC Helix ITSM (SaaS/On-Premise).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, prepare documentation, and design custom workflows and integrations.
- Administer and customize the latest version of BMC Helix, including multi-tenant environments.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and fix issues related to BMC Helix modules and workflows.
- Utilize BMC Developer Studio for application customization and workflow development.
- Design and develop custom BMC ARS applications as per project needs.
- Configure ITSM modules such as Incident Management (IM), Problem Management (PM), Change Management (CM), Service Request Management (SRM), Service Catalog, Knowledge Management (KM), Release Management (RM), and CMDB.
- Develop and update service catalog items in Digital Workplace Advanced (DWPA).
- Build and manage Business Workflows within BMC Helix.
- Generate insightful reports using Helix Dashboards/Smart Reporting.
- Create and execute test cases for validating workflow integrity and performance.
- Manage and upload foundation data across environments.
Optional/Preferred Skills :
- Experience integrating BMC Helix with third-party ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, ManageEngine).
- Proficiency in data migration from legacy systems like Remedy.
- In-depth knowledge of the BMC Helix Discovery module.
- Development experience in DWP 21.3+.
- Strong experience in Helix CMDB, including data modeling, reconciliation jobs, and integrations.
- Integration expertise using REST APIs and Web Services.
- Ability to automate workflows, business rules, and processes within Helix.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in BMC ITSM/Helix administration and support
