Role : Routing & Switching (R&S) ACI Network Designer

We are seeking an experienced Routing & Switching (R&S) ACI Network Designer with 8+ years of experience in designing and implementing enterprise network infrastructure.

The ideal candidate must have deep expertise in Cisco ACI architecture, data center fabric design, and enterprise-level routing and switching.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, plan, and implement Cisco ACI-based data center networks, integrating with enterprise routing and switching environments

- Lead high- and low-level design (HLD/LLD) documentation and ensure architectural alignment with business and security requirements

- Translate business needs into scalable network designs incorporating Cisco ACI fabrics, Leaf-Spine architectures, and multi-site/multi-pod environments

- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to integrate ACI with firewalls, load balancers, and hybrid cloud networks

- Design and validate routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) across data center and campus environments

- Optimize network performance, resilience, and redundancy using best practices and automation where applicable

- Develop ACI contracts, filters, tenants, EPGs, bridge domains, and service graphs as per policy-based design

- Support network audits, documentation, migrations, and modernization projects

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to network engineers and operations teams

Required Skills & Experience :

- 8+ years of experience in enterprise network design, deployment, and troubleshooting

- Proven expertise in Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) design and deployment

- Strong experience with routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP

- Deep knowledge of L2/L3 switching and routing, VLANs, STP, VRF, VXLAN

- Familiarity with Nexus 9000 series switches, Fabric Discovery, APIC configuration

- Experience in multi-tenant ACI environments, fabric policies, service chaining, and L4-L7 integration

- Hands-on with firewall and load balancer integration (Cisco, Palo Alto, F5, etc.)

- Understanding of QoS, Multicast, and IP addressing schemes

- Strong documentation and diagramming skills using tools like Visio or Draw.io

- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills

Preferred / Bonus Skills:

- Cisco certifications such as CCNP Data Center, CCIE R&S or Data Center

- Experience in ACI Multi-Site, Cloud ACI (Azure/AWS), or SD-Access

- Familiarity with automation tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform) for network provisioning

- Understanding of network security, segmentation, and compliance best practices

- Experience working in ITIL or DevOps-aligned environments
