We are looking for a proactive and highly skilled Shopify Team Lead to spearhead our migration from Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) to Shopify Plus. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with enterprise-level Shopify Plus development, including custom theme creation, app integration, backend customization, and Vibe coding experience. You will be responsible for

developing bespoke solutions using Shopify templates, converting mock-ups and specifications into fully functional solutions, updating existing websites to enhance UX/UI, testing and developing third-party Shopify apps, and customizing Shopify accounts. As Team Lead, you will also guide a team of developers, coordinate with designers and QA, and ensure timely delivery of a robust Shopify storefront.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and execute the migration of eCommerce functionalities from SFCC to Shopify Plus.

- Develop and customize Shopify themes, Liquid templates, and custom apps to replicate existing site features and enhance performance.

- Integrate Shopify with third-party APIs, payment gateways, and middleware systems (e.g.,Node.js, MuleSoft, ERP).

- Good understanding of Shopify Admin API and Storefront API.

- Optimize website performance, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.

- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA teams to ensure seamless migration and deployment.

- Implement and maintain Shopify Plus features such as B2C functionality, checkout extensibility, and custom storefront APIs.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to data migration, synchronization, and storefront performance.

- Provide technical inputs for data mapping, catalog structure, and order management migration.

- Execute the data migration from Salesforce to Shopify.

- Mentor and guide a team of developers, ensuring best coding practices including Vibe coding standards.

- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and code quality reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of professional web development experience, with at least 3 years in Shopify (Shopify Plus preferred).

- Proven experience in migrating large-scale / enterprise eCommerce platforms (e.g., SFCC - Shopify or similar).

- Customize and optimize Shopify themes and templates.

- Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and React.

- Experience with Shopify APIs (REST & GraphQL) and app development using Node.js / Express.

- Understanding of headless commerce, custom storefronts, and Shopify Hydrogen (nice to have).

- Familiarity with SFCC architecture and data model is a plus.

- Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

- Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management skills.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) :

- Shopify Developer Certification (not mandatory but an advantage).

- Experience integrating Shopify with ERP systems and Backend systems.

- Exposure to Azure/AWS cloud deployments.

- Knowledge of SEO best practices, analytics, and performance optimization tools.

Educational Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Shopify Expert or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of Shopify platform, themes, and plugins.

- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
