Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead Banknet to oversee and manage Banknet operations, ensuring secure, reliable, and uninterrupted network connectivity across banking applications and systems. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Banknet infrastructure, enterprise networking, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities :

Banknet Operations Management :

- Lead and manage Banknet infrastructure operations ensuring high availability and smooth functioning.

- Oversee daily monitoring, maintenance, and performance optimization of Banknet systems.

- Ensure adherence to banking network security protocols and regulatory requirements.

Network Administration :

- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls.

- Handle network components supporting banking applications, ATM switching, payment gateways, and secure financial data flow.

- Optimize routing, switching, and bandwidth allocation across Banknet segments.

Incident & Problem Management :

- Lead troubleshooting during network outages, degradations, and critical Banknet-related incidents.

- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and banking partners for swift issue resolution.

Security & Compliance :

- Implement and enforce secure network configurations aligned with RBI, ISO, and internal security standards.

- Conduct regular security assessments, compliance checks, and vulnerability reviews.

- Ensure proper access control, patch updates, and network device hardening.

Team Leadership :

- Supervise, mentor, and guide the network operations team.

- Conduct knowledge-transfer sessions and build competency within the team.

- Manage task allocation, performance reviews, and capacity planning.

Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination :

- Work closely with OEMs, service providers, and banking partners for escalations and new implementations.

- Prepare and present periodic reports on network performance, uptime, and compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related fields.

- 6 to 15 years of experience in network operations, preferably within the banking or financial domain.

- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking devices.

- CCNP (Global) certification is mandatory.

- Experience in Banknet infrastructure, banking networks, and secure financial communication channels.

- Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), VPNs, MPLS, and data center networking.

- Familiarity with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, etc.).

- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in BFSI network operations or data centers.

- Understanding of ATM switch networks, POS, and payment systems.

- Knowledge of ITIL processes and documentation.
