Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead INFINET Operations to manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of our INFINET (Intra-Network) infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in network operations, hands-on experience with Cisco technologies, and a proven track record of leading technical teams. This role ensures seamless network connectivity, high availability, and efficient problem resolution across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

Operational Leadership :

- Lead and supervise the INFINET operations team to ensure 24/7 network availability.

- Plan, allocate, and monitor daily tasks for the operations team.

- Drive operational excellence through process improvements and best practices.

Network Management :

- Manage, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices.

- Oversee performance of LAN/WAN, MPLS, VPN, and SD-WAN networks.

- Ensure optimal routing, switching, and load balancing across critical systems.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting :

- Perform real-time monitoring of network performance and identify potential issues proactively.

- Lead high-impact troubleshooting efforts for escalated incidents, outages, or degradations.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for effective root cause analysis and permanent fixes.

Security & Compliance :

- Implement and maintain network security standards in accordance with organizational policies.

- Conduct regular audits, vulnerability reviews, and compliance checks.

- Ensure secure configuration of network devices and adherence to global security frameworks.

Team Management & Development :

- Mentor, guide, and upskill team members to build a strong technical workforce.

- Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate training sessions.

- Coordinate with management to plan workforce capacity and team structure.

Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination :

- Liaise with OEMs, ISPs, and external vendors for escalations, maintenance, or new deployments.

- Provide timely updates and reports to senior management on network health and operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.

- 6 to 15 years of hands-on experience in network operations, with minimum 23 years in a team lead role.

- Strong expertise in Cisco networking technologies.

- CCNP Global certification is mandatory.

- Proficiency in routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), switching, MPLS, VPN, QoS, and WAN optimization.

- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG, etc.).

- Solid understanding of network security, firewalls, and access control policies.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have) :

- Experience working in large-scale enterprise or telecom environments.

- Knowledge of SD-WAN, VoIP, and wireless technologies.

- Exposure to ITIL processes and documentation.
