We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Team Lead Full Stack (MERN) with 7 + years of proven expertise in designing and delivering scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on experience across both frontend and backend technologies, along with the ability to lead teams, define system architecture, and drive technical excellence. Prior experience working in a service-based company is essential, along with excellent English communication skills for effective client and team collaboration.

In this role, you will lead end-to-end development, including application design, development, deployment, and maintenance. You will be responsible for making key architectural decisions, mentoring team members, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions across multiple client projects. You should be highly proficient in Node.js, React.js, Next.js, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, GraphQL, and cloud platforms such as AWS, with hands-on experience in deployment processes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.

Strong experience in team management, cross-functional team management, client interaction, and delivering enterprise-grade applications is critical for success in this position.

Skills :

- 8+ years of professional full-stack development experience, preferably in a service-based company handling multiple client engagements.

- Strong expertise in Node.js (backend architecture, scalable APIs), React.js (complex UI systems), and Next.js (SSR, SSG, API routes).

- Proficiency in TypeScript, Redux, and modern frontend frameworks and libraries (Tailwind CSS, Material UI, etc.).

- Extensive experience in designing scalable system architectures, including microservices and distributed systems.

- Strong understanding of system design principles, scalability, performance tuning, caching strategies, and load balancing.

- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL, including secure and scalable third-party integrations (Stripe, Twilio, Google APIs, etc.).

- Good to have experience in React Native for cross-platform mobile application development.

- Proficiency in MongoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL with strong knowledge of data modeling, indexing, and performance optimization.

- Experience in building real-time systems using WebSockets or similar technologies.

- Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFront), and familiarity with Azure/GCP and VPS platforms like DigitalOcean.

- Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, containerization, and infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation).

- Experience in managing application deployments across environments, including release management, rollback strategies, and zero-downtime deployments.

- Knowledge of security best practices including authentication (JWT, OAuth), data encryption, and secure coding standards.

- Expertise in Git workflows, Agile/Scrum/Waterfall methodologies, and automated testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress).

- Strong expertise in project estimation, including effort sizing, timeline planning, and resource allocation for scalable and complex applications.

- Strong experience in sprint planning, task estimation, and progress tracking in Agile Scrum environments.

- Proven experience in leading teams, conducting code reviews, mentoring developers, and driving best practices.

- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery.

- Experience in identifying risks, resolving blockers, and ensuring smooth project execution.

- Strong client communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, and decision-making capabilities.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities :

- Plan, allocate, and balance team workload, monitor development activities, and report project progress.

- Provide accurate project estimations, including effort, timelines, and resource planning, ensuring alignment with client expectations and delivery commitments.

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing their expectations and ensuring their satisfaction.

- Conduct regular client meetings to discuss project progress, address issues, and propose effective technical solutions.

- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Own end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and client satisfaction.

- Lead sprint planning, task breakdown, and progress tracking in an Agile Scrum environment.

- Work across multiple projects and domains, ensuring consistent delivery and technical excellence.

- Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using the MERN stack.

- Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and build responsive frontend applications using React.js and Next.js.

- Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, ensuring performance, scalability, and code quality.

- Design and manage databases (MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL) with optimized queries and data structures.

- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and GraphQL services for seamless integration.

- Handle third-party integrations (payment gateways, messaging services, analytics tools).

- Implement cloud solutions using AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.) ensuring scalability and reliability.

- Drive DevOps practices including CI/CD, automated deployments, and monitoring.

- Ensure that coding standards and best practices are defined, followed, and continuously improved across all projects.

- Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, consistency, and scalability.

- Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure system reliability.

- Ensure security, compliance, and data protection standards are maintained across applications.

- Identify and mitigate potential risks, proactively addressing issues that may impact project timelines or quality.

- Review and enhance current processes and methodologies to improve quality, reduce risk, and optimize timelines.

- Prepare and present project reports and documentation as required.

- Continuously evaluate new technologies and tools to improve development efficiency and system performance.

- Drive adoption of AI-powered tools and solutions to enhance development efficiency, code quality, and team productivity.

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the team is using the best tools and practices.

- Has to perform all team lead-related roles and responsibilities.
