TCS - Golang Developer

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled GoLang Developer with strong expertise in backend development, microservices architecture, API development, and cloud-native technologies. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in Go programming, concurrent programming concepts, containerization, and DevOps practices for building scalable and high-performance applications.

The role involves designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining distributed backend systems while collaborating with cross-functional engineering and DevOps teams in Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using GoLang.

- Develop high-performance, concurrent, and distributed systems using Goroutines and Channels.

- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and gRPC-based microservices for enterprise applications.

- Design and implement Microservices architecture for cloud-native applications.

- Develop reusable, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.

- Integrate backend services with databases, third-party APIs, and enterprise systems.

- Work with relational and NoSQL databases, ORM frameworks, and data access layers.

- Develop containerized applications using Docker and manage deployments in Kubernetes environments.

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar DevOps tools.

- Participate in application architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability across distributed systems.

- Troubleshoot production issues, perform debugging, and implement root cause analysis (RCA).

- Collaborate with DevOps, QA, Product, and Infrastructure teams for successful application delivery.

- Ensure adherence to security standards, coding guidelines, and software development best practices.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications :

- 4 to 8 years of software development experience with strong hands-on expertise in GoLang.

- Proficiency in GoLang concepts including Goroutines, Channels, concurrency, and memory management.

- Experience building scalable REST and gRPC-based services.

- Strong understanding of Microservices architecture and distributed systems.

- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Experience with CI/CD tools, Git-based workflows, and DevOps practices.

- Good understanding of database concepts, ORM frameworks, and query optimization.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills :

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS.

- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.

- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible) is an added advantage.

- Experience working in product-based or high-scale enterprise environments preferred.
