DevOps Engineer :

Requirements :

Must have :

- A degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or similar experience.

- Curiosity about how things work.

- A passion for learning and developing new skills.

- Obsession with automating everything and a passion for elegance and simplicity.

- Ability to jump into situations with few guardrails and improve them.

- Extensive experience with AWS services.

- Familiarity with at least one programming language, such as Python, Go, or shell scripting.

- Familiarity with LoadBalancing and API Gateway

- Basic knowledge of REST (or) gRPC & Protocol Buffers

- Understanding of Kubernetes and CloudNative Technologies

- Experience with CI/CD tools like Github actions, Jenkins, etc.

- Infrastructure automation with infrastructure as code tools - CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform.

- Familiarity with monitoring and observability stacks like OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana.

- Experience with container infrastructures like Docker.

- Experience with RDBMS/NoSQL administration and management, such as Postgres and MongoDB.

- Experience with microservice architecture.

- Experience with configuration management.

- Excellent understanding of operating system concepts, especially Linux OS.

Nice to have :

- Experience working for a start-up is preferred

- Familiarity with AWS data engineering - DMS, Glue, Athena, Redshift, Quicksight

- History of effectively working with and growing geo-distributed partner teams

- AWS Cloud Certifications.

- Basic knowledge of security - OWASP, static code analysis

- Fintech experience, security standards and compliance - PCI-DSS, SOC2
