We are looking for an Automation QA Engineer who doesn't just test software, but helps build it betterwith a mindset to break things early, code automation robustly, and ensure exceptional performance and reliability.

Role Overview :

As an Automation QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining automated test suites, creating test strategies, and ensuring quality across the development lifecycle.

This role demands good programming skills and a solid understanding of software testing principles.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts (UI, API, integration, regression).

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure test coverage and quality standards.

- Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs.

- Work in Agile teams and actively participate in sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups.

- Develop and manage test plans, test cases, and test data.

- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests.

- Analyze test results, track quality metrics, and continuously improve QA practices.

Key Requirements :

- 24 years of experience in QA automation with good programming skills in Python, Java, JavaScript or any other programming language.

- Practical experience writing and maintaining automated test scripts for UI and API testing using tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Postman/Postbot.

- Basic exposure to or curiosity about AI-based testing tools and using AI tools like ChatGPT to assist in test case generation or exploratory testing.

- Understanding of test automation frameworks and ability to contribute to or extend existing ones.

- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr).

- Ability to write clear, concise test cases and document results effectively.

- Willingness to learn and experiment with AI tools and frameworks that can optimize testing efforts over time.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in testing cloud-native applications (AWS/Azure/GCP).

- Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools or exploratory testing techniques.

- Knowledge of performance testing (JMeter, Locust) or security testing tools is a plus.

- Exposure to source control (Git) and Agile development practices
