Key Responsibilities :

- Define, design, and implement network architecture frameworks for data centers, branch offices, and cloud environments.

- Develop end-to-end network topology diagrams, capacity planning, and high-availability designs.

- Architect solutions for LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, MPLS, VPN, Wireless, and Cloud Network (Azure/AWS/GCP).

- Evaluate and integrate network virtualization technologies (e.g., VXLAN, EVPN, SDN).

- Design and implement resilient and secure connectivity across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

- Implement and manage network security architecture including firewalls, IPS/IDS, VPNs, and Zero Trust

frameworks.

- Collaborate with the security team to ensure compliance with ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR, and other regulatory frameworks.

- Design and oversee segmentation, access control, and encryption policies.

- Conduct security assessments and lead remediation efforts for network vulnerabilities.

- Ensure network availability, scalability, and redundancy through proactive monitoring and capacity management.

- Define network SLAs, KPIs, and performance metrics for service excellence.

- Work with operations teams to troubleshoot escalated issues and optimize configurations.

- Drive automation of network provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using tools like Ansible,

Terraform, or Python.

- Design hybrid cloud connectivity using Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, or VPN tunnels.

- Implement cloud-native networking and integrate with cloud security controls.

- Work on SD-WAN, SASE, and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) frameworks.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams on network automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- Define and maintain network standards, design patterns, and documentation.

- Lead technology evaluation, vendor selection, and proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives.

- Provide technical leadership to network engineering and operations teams.

- Collaborate with IT leadership and business units to align network strategy with business priorities.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

- Bachelors / Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.

- 10- 15 years of experience in network design, architecture, and operations, with at least 5 years in a senior or architect role.

- In-depth expertise in :

- Networking Technologies : LAN, WAN, MPLS, SD-WAN, VPN, Wireless, and Cloud Networks.

1. Protocols : BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, VLAN, QoS, and IP multicast.

2. Security : Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point), Proxy, IDS/IPS, NAC, ZTNA.

3. Cloud & Virtualization : Azure, AWS, GCP networking, VMware NSX, Cisco ACI.

4. Monitoring Tools : SolarWinds, Nagios, NetFlow, Wireshark, or similar tools.

- Experience in network automation scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Ansible).

- Strong understanding of ITIL, network governance, and change management processes.

Relevant Certifications preferred :

- Cisco : CCNP / CCIE (Enterprise or Security)

- Aruba / Juniper : JNCIP / JNCIE

- Cloud : AWS Advanced Networking Specialty, Azure Network Engineer Associate
