Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor application performance, availability, and system health
- Provide L2/L3 application support for production issues and user queries
- Respond to and resolve incidents, service requests, and operational issues within defined SLAs
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and support problem management initiatives
- Coordinate with development, database, infrastructure, and vendor teams for issue resolution
- Support application deployments, patches, and configuration changes
- Maintain application documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks
- Ensure compliance with security policies and operational standards
- Participate in on-call support and planned maintenance activities
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 2-5 years of experience in IT Application Support / Application Operations
- Strong understanding of application architecture and production support processes
- Experience with incident, change, and problem management (ITIL-based processes)
- Working knowledge of databases (SQL) for basic troubleshooting and analysis
- Familiarity with application monitoring tools and log analysis
- Good understanding of Windows/Linux environments
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Preferred Skills :
- Experience supporting enterprise or business-critical applications
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and release management
- ITIL certification or ITIL process exposure
