Key Responsibilities :
Material Management :
- Own material planning and ordering based on consumption trends, network expansion plans, and new projects
- Manage supplier and OEM coordination to ensure timely availability of materials
- Oversee material distribution, redistribution, and inventory optimization across projects and regions
- Ensure accurate material consumption booking in SAP against projects and customer orders
- Monitor inventory ageing, identify slow-moving and obsolete inventory, and implement control measures
- Drive recovery, testing, repair, refurbishment, and reuse of recovered materials
- Lead asset retrieval and reuse initiatives to maximize cost efficiency
Inventory & Asset Management :
- Map existing inventory across churn SRs and network sites
- Coordinate with NOC, circle teams, agencies, and customers for asset retrieval from customer premises
- Ensure timely submission and reconciliation of retrieved assets at warehouses
Network Project Management :
- Lead end-to-end network project execution from approvals to delivery and readiness-for-service (RFS)
- Coordinate with SCM, OEMs, NOC, field teams, engineering, operations, and customer success teams
- Track milestones, dependencies, and deliverables across stakeholders to meet project plans
- Conduct post-launch analysis on schedule, quantity, and cost KPIs to drive continuous improvement
Estate & Site Management :
- Oversee estate management for non-IP network sites
- Manage owner agreements, renewals, and property tax renewals (select states)
- Handle Right of Way (ROW), Security Deposit (SD), and Bank Guarantee (BG) refunds with railways, municipal bodies, and local agencies
- Manage national and central contracts related to sites and infrastructure
- Liaise with builders, government agencies, DIPA, COAI, and industry associations
- Provide escalation support for PROW cases, including hotels and hospitals
- Support and manage ITES certification requirements
Stakeholder & Governance Management :
- Act as a senior interface with internal teams, external agencies, OEMs, vendors, and government bodies
- Ensure governance, compliance, and adherence to organizational and regulatory standards
- Drive process improvements and standardization across network projects and material management
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 12- 18 years of experience in telecom network projects, material management, or infrastructure operations
- Strong understanding of telecom network infrastructure and supply chain operations
- Proven expertise in SAP (material management, project booking, inventory control)
- Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills
- Experience dealing with government bodies, municipal authorities, and industry associations
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in cost optimization and asset reuse
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
Preferred Qualifications :
- Engineering or Management degree (BE/BTech / MBA Operations / Supply Chain preferred)
- PMP / PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification
- Experience in large-scale telecom or infrastructure organizations
