Tata Tele - Cloud Data Collection Lead - Python

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage the cloud collections team to design, develop, and deploy cloud data collection solutions.

- Architect and implement scalable and secure data collection frameworks across various cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of cloud collection processes with organizational goals.

- Oversee the integration of diverse data sources into centralized cloud data lakes or warehouses.

- Develop and enforce best practices for data quality, governance, and compliance in cloud collections.

- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud data collection workflows.

- Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

- Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies, tools, and industry trends related to data collection and cloud architecture.

- Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Minimum 8 years of experience in cloud data collection, cloud engineering, or related roles.

- Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

- Hands-on experience with cloud storage solutions (S3, Azure Blob Storage, BigQuery, etc.).

- Proficiency in data ingestion tools and frameworks (Apache NiFi, Kafka, AWS Glue, etc.).

- Experience with programming and scripting languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.

- Solid understanding of data governance, security, and compliance standards in cloud environments.

- Experience leading and managing technical teams.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, etc.).

- Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and tools.

- Exposure to AI/ML data pipelines.

- Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
