Key Responsibilities :
- Design, configure, and implement VoIP/SIP/IMS systems for enterprise and carrier-grade solutions.
- Integrate open-source VoIP platforms such as FreeSWITCH, Asterisk, or similar.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain robust communication infrastructures.
- Optimize system performance, perform load testing, and ensure high availability and scalability.
- Debug and resolve complex issues using advanced debugging tools and techniques for embedded systems.
- Collaborate on kernel and user-space programming in Linux environments.
- Maintain code quality and manage source control using tools like Git.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in VoIP and IMS technologies and propose innovative solutions.
Must-Have Skills :
- Hands-on expertise with FreeSWITCH or other open-source VoIP tools.
- Strong understanding of VoIP architecture, signaling protocols, and media handling.
- Excellent knowledge of Linux OS, including kernel-level development and user-space programming.
- Proficiency with debugging tools for embedded and real-time systems.
- Solid experience with version control systems, especially Git.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Previous experience working with telecom operators, system integrators, or OEMs.
- Familiarity with IMS architecture, SIP Trunking, and RTP handling
