Job Description :

Tata Elxsi is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Autosar Cybersecurity Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cybersecurity solutions for automotive embedded systems based on the Autosar architecture. You will work closely with other engineers to ensure the security and integrity of our clients' automotive products.

Responsibilities :

- Design and implement cybersecurity solutions for Autosar-based automotive ECUs.

- Develop and integrate security modules, including HSM (Hardware Security Module) integration, secure boot, secure communication, and intrusion detection systems.

- Perform threat analysis and risk assessments for automotive systems.

- Define and implement security requirements based on industry standards (e.g., ISO 21434, SAE J3061).

- Configure and integrate Autosar security modules (e.g., Crypto Service Manager, Diagnostic Event Manager)

- Develop and execute security test plans to validate the effectiveness of implemented security measures.

- Collaborate with software, hardware, and validation teams to ensure seamless integration of security features.

- Troubleshoot and resolve security-related issues in embedded systems.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities in the automotive industry.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

- Document security designs, implementations, and test results.

Required Skills :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

- 3-8 years of experience in embedded software development with a focus on cybersecurity.

- Strong understanding of Autosar architecture and its security features.

- Experience with cybersecurity standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 21434, SAE J3061).

- Proficiency in C/C++ programming.

- Experience with cryptographic algorithms and protocols (e.g., AES, RSA, TLS).

- Experience with HSM (Hardware Security Module) integration.

- Knowledge of secure boot mechanisms.

- Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Ethernet).

- Experience with security testing tools and techniques.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cybersecurity tools such as Vector CANoe, Wireshark, and debuggers.

- Experience with automotive diagnostic protocols (e.g., UDS).

- Experience with intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDPS).

- Experience with secure coding practices.

- Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CEH).
