Position Title : Enterprise AWS Architect Data Processing & Cloud Solutions

Location : Hybrid / Bangalore KR Puram / Onsite (as applicable)

Experience : 12 to 15 years

Experience Required :

- 12+ years in IT infrastructure, cloud architecture, and enterprise data platforms with strong hands-on experience in AWS.

- Define cloud adoption frameworks, governance standards, security controls, and operational best practices.

- Lead migration of on-premise applications and data platforms to AWS.

- Create reference architectures, reusable patterns, and architectural roadmaps.

- Collaborate with enterprise architects, infrastructure teams, application teams, and business stakeholders.

Data Processing & Analytics :

- Architect large-scale data ingestion, processing, and analytics pipelines.

- Design batch and real-time streaming solutions using AWS data services.

- Build scalable data lake and lakehouse architectures.

- Optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for performance and cost efficiency.

- Enable enterprise reporting, BI, advanced analytics, and AI/ML integration.

AWS Platform Expertise :

- Design and implement solutions using :

a. AWS Lambda

e. Amazon Athena

f. Amazon Kinesis

Security & Governance :

- Implement enterprise security frameworks and compliance controls.

- Define IAM strategies, encryption standards, network segmentation, and monitoring solutions.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as SOC2, ISO, HIPAA, GDPR, etc.

DevOps & Automation :

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Enable CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies.

- Drive observability, monitoring, and incident response practices.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management :

- Provide technical leadership to engineering and architecture teams.

- Conduct architecture reviews and solution assessments.

- Mentor developers, engineers, and junior architects.

- Present technical strategies and solution recommendations to executive stakeholders.

Required Skills :

Technical Skills :

- Strong expertise in AWS cloud architecture and enterprise-scale deployments.

- Hands-on experience with distributed data processing frameworks :

a. Apache Spark

b. Hadoop

c. Kafka

d. PySpark

- Experience designing :

a. Data lakes

b. Streaming platforms

c. Event-driven architectures

d. Microservices architectures

- Strong knowledge of :

a. Networking

b. Security

c. Containers

d. Kubernetes

e. Serverless computing

- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

- Proficiency in Python, Shell scripting, or Java.

Architecture & Design :

- TOGAF or enterprise architecture methodology experience preferred.

- Ability to produce HLDs, LLDs, architecture diagrams, and governance documentation.

- Strong understanding of Well-Architected Framework principles.

Preferred Qualifications :

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional

- AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty

- TOGAF Certification

- Experience with Databricks or Snowflake is a plus.

- Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments preferred.
