Job Description

Role Overview :


We are seeking an experienced Delivery Lead to own and drive end-to-end delivery of multiple large-scale software projects. This role demands a strong balance of technical depth, people leadership, delivery excellence, and stakeholder management.


You will lead multiple engineering teams, ensure predictable delivery, maintain high quality standards, and align execution with business objectives.


This role is ideal for leaders who have scaled delivery across complex programs, managed large engineering teams, and worked across modern web technology stacks.


Key Responsibilities & KRAs :


1. Delivery Ownership & Execution :


- Excellence Own end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent software projects and programs.


- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality benchmarks.


- Define delivery plans, milestones, release schedules, and risk mitigation strategies.


- Track delivery metrics, KPIs, and continuously improve execution efficiency.


KRA : Predictable, high-quality delivery with improved velocity and reduced escalations.


2. Technical Leadership & Architecture


- Oversight Provide technical direction and governance across teams working on diverse tech stacks. Review and guide system architecture, design decisions, and technical roadmaps.


- Ensure adherence to best practices in scalability, security, performance, and maintainability.


- Drive standardization across platforms, frameworks, and engineering practices.


KRA : Robust architectures with controlled technical debt and scalable solutions.


3. Team & People Leadership :


- Lead and mentor multiple teams of Senior Engineers, Tech Leads, and Project Managers.


- Build high-performing, accountable, and motivated engineering teams.


- Drive performance management, career growth plans, and leadership development.


- Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.


KRA : High team engagement, low attrition, and strong leadership pipeline.


4. Stakeholder & Client Management :


- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, business stakeholders, and leadership.


- Translate business goals into executable delivery plans.


- Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and escalations.


- Communicate delivery status, challenges, and mitigation plans clearly and transparently.


KRA : High client satisfaction and strong stakeholder trust.


5. Agile, Process & Quality Governance :


- Drive Agile/Scrum/Kanban best practices across teams.


- Ensure quality through effective testing strategies, reviews, and release governance.


- Continuously refine delivery processes to improve efficiency and predictability.


- Encourage adoption of DevOps, CI/CD, and automation where applicable.


KRA : Improved delivery maturity and consistent quality outcomes.


6. Technology Stack :


Oversight Oversee delivery across modern web stacks including (but not limited to) :


- Backend : Java Spring Boot, .NET Core, Rails, Grails, Node.js, Python, Golang, Kotlin


- Frontend : React, Vue, Angular Ensure teams follow best practices in API design, frontend architecture, and system integration.


KRA : Well-aligned, future-ready technology implementations.


Desired Candidate Profile :


- Mandatory Experience 10 to 15 years of overall experience in software engineering and delivery leadership.


- Proven track record of leading large, multi-team software delivery programs.


- Strong delivery management expertise combined with deep technical understanding.


- Experience across at least one major backend stack and one modern frontend framework.


Technical Skills :


- Delivery Leadership Technical Leadership Managerial Leadership Java Spring Boot / .NET Core / Rails / Grails / Node.js / Python / Golang / Kotlin React / Vue / Angular Agile Methodologies


- SDLC & Delivery Governance


- Education Any Degree (Experience and leadership capabilities take precedence).
