Role Overview :

We are looking for a skilled Systems Engineer II Linux IQE with strong hands-on experience in Linux system testing, test automation, scripting, and validation.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test strategies, developing automation scripts, validating system and GPU/graphics driver functionality, and ensuring product quality and stability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform functional and system-level testing on Linux-based platforms.

- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.

- Validate GPU/Graphics drivers and related system functionality.

- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting.

- Perform regression, white-box, and black-box testing.

- Analyze test results, identify failures, and perform root-cause analysis.

- Execute test suites and prepare detailed test reports.

- Track defects, validate fixes, and perform regression testing.

- Collaborate with software, driver, hardware, and development teams to resolve technical issues.

- Improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall testing processes.

- Support system stability, performance, and quality validation across Linux platforms.

Required Skills :

- 57 years of relevant experience in Linux system testing / software testing / validation.

- Strong hands-on experience with Linux operating systems.

- Good programming/scripting skills in Python and Shell.

- Experience in test case design, test automation, and execution.

- Strong understanding of regression, white-box, and black-box testing.

- Experience with defect tracking, debugging, and fix validation.

- Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot system-level issues.

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.

- Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in GPU / Graphics Driver Testing and Validation.

- Hands-on experience with GPU driver automation.

- Exposure to Linux graphics stack and system-level driver validation.

- Experience working with hardware/software integration testing.

- Knowledge of performance, stability, and stress testing.

Education :

B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.
