Role Overview :

As a System Integration Engineer, you will serve as the technical backbone for our enterprise ecosystem, ensuring seamless data flow and connectivity across complex, distributed environments.

You will spend your day architecting, deploying, and maintaining robust integration layers that bridge legacy systems with modern cloud-native platforms.

By collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering teams, product managers, and external stakeholders, you will translate intricate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Your work will directly impact the reliability and performance of our digital infrastructure, ensuring that our customers experience uninterrupted service and high-speed data synchronization across all touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement high-performance middleware solutions to facilitate secure communication between disparate enterprise applications, ensuring data integrity and system availability.

- Develop and manage complex REST and SOAP API endpoints to streamline service-oriented interactions, enabling faster time-to-market for new feature deployments.

- Orchestrate the migration and management of integration services on Google Cloud Platform, optimizing resource utilization and reducing operational latency for global users.

- Configure and troubleshoot Linux/Unix-based server environments, ensuring that network protocols such as TCP/IP and DNS are finely tuned for maximum throughput and security.

- Lead the transition toward a microservices architecture by refactoring monolithic integration points, which enhances the modularity and fault tolerance of our core business systems.

- Monitor integration health and performance metrics, proactively identifying bottlenecks to maintain a seamless experience for internal stakeholders and end-users alike.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in building and managing EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) frameworks, with a proven ability to handle high-volume data traffic in complex network environments.

- Advanced proficiency in API lifecycle management, including the design, documentation, and security of REST and SOAP services to support diverse client requirements.

- Strong technical command over Linux/Unix operating systems, coupled with a deep understanding of networking fundamentals like TCP/IP and DNS for robust infrastructure management.

- Proven experience in leveraging Google Cloud Platform services to deploy scalable, cloud-native integration solutions that meet rigorous enterprise standards.

- Exceptional analytical and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively within a hybrid work environment.

- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by 4 to 9 years of hands-on experience in system integration and middleware engineering.

- High adaptability to evolving technology stacks and a proactive approach to solving architectural challenges in a fast-paced, professional setting.
