System Engineer III (Apple Engineer)

Location- Bangalore

Experience- 4 to 6 years

Must have :

- Expertise in JAMF Pro and Apple Business Manager (ABM)

- Strong understanding of macOS and iOS operating systems, Apple hardware, and Apple ecosystem tools.

- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and troubleshooting.

- Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM) and SSO integrations.

Roles & Responsibilities :

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Level 3 Apple Engineer with deep expertise in JAMF Pro and Apple Business Manager (ABM) to support and enhance our Apple device ecosystem. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering seamless Apple device management experiences across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Device Management & Deployment : Configure, deploy, and manage Apple devices (macOS, iOS, iPadOS) using JAMF Pro and Apple Business Manager.

- Automate device enrollment and provisioning workflows using ABM and JAMF PreStage enrollments.

- Maintain and optimize zero-touch deployment strategies. Leveraging JAMF Platform SSO and/or JAMF connect.

- System Administration : Manage policies, configuration profiles, scripts, and patch management in JAMF.

- Monitor device compliance, security baselines, and software updates.

- Troubleshoot and resolve Level 2 support issues related to Apple hardware, software, and MDM configurations.

- Integration & Security : Integrate JAMF with enterprise tools such as identity providers (e.g., Azure AD, Okta), endpoint protection, and inventory systems.

- Enforce security policies including FileVault, Gatekeeper, and system integrity protection.

- Collaboration & Documentation : Work closely with IT support teams, InfoSec, and end-users to ensure optimal Apple device performance.

- Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps in internal knowledge bases.
