Job Title : System Development Engineer (SysDE)
Role Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled System Development Engineer (SysDE) with strong hands-on experience in RHEL/Linux system administration within production and lab/data center environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, managing, and supporting complex lab infrastructure used for hardware-assisted verification and related workflows.
Key Responsibilities :
- Administer and support RHEL/Linux systems in production and lab environments.
- Set up, manage, and maintain lab and data center infrastructure, including servers, networking, and storage.
- Configure and support emulation platforms such as Synopsys Zebu, HAPS, or similar hardware-assisted verification systems.
- Manage lab network infrastructure, including circuit connectivity, routing, switching, and firewall coordination as needed.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot storage systems (NAS/SAN, NFS, local storage, etc.).
- Perform system performance tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning.
- Troubleshoot complex system, network, and storage issues with strong root-cause analysis.
- Coordinate with remote and cross-functional teams to support global lab operations.
- Document system configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Required Qualifications :
- Strong hands-on experience with RHEL/Linux system administration in production environments.
- Experience setting up and managing lab or data center environments.
- Knowledge of hardware emulation platforms (Zebu, HAPS, or similar).
- Understanding of network infrastructure including VLANs, IP addressing, and circuit connectivity.
- Experience with storage configuration and management.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with remote teams.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Prior hands-on experience with Synopsys Zebu and/or HAPS platforms.
- Background in ASIC/FPGA verification environments.
- Familiarity with EDA tool workflows and supporting infrastructure.
- Experience with lab or data center migration projects.
- Exposure to automation and scripting (Shell, Python) is a plus.
