Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain BIOS/firmware for Intel x86-based platforms.
- Implement and customize firmware features using EDK II and UEFI standards.
- Perform system-level programming in C with a focus on performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with hardware and architecture teams to support new platform bring-up.
- Work on low-level hardware interfaces including CPU, chipset, memory controllers, and peripherals.
- Debug hardware and firmware issues using tools such as ITP, Lauterbach, and other JTAG debuggers.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards including BMC, Intel PCH, MRC, PCIe.
Required Skills :
- Strong fundamentals in C Programming and system-level development.
- Experience in Intel x86 architecture, chipsets, and memory error handling.
- Hands-on expertise with EDK II, UEFI BIOS, and open-source firmware development.
- Knowledge of BMC, Intel PCH, MRC, PCIe, and CPU initialization.
- Experience using hardware debugging tools like ITP, Lauterbach, or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
- Prior experience in server BIOS/firmware development for enterprise systems.
- Good understanding of hardware/software interaction and embedded systems design.
