Job title : Systems Analyst



Detailed job description - Overall purpose :


The Systems Analyst is responsible for analysing, designing, and implementing information solutions that improve business efficiency and productivity.



This role acts as a bridge between business problems and technology solutions by understanding user requirements, evaluating existing systems, and proposing enhancements or new systems.



Responsibilities :



- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications.



- Analyse current systems and processes to identify areas for improvement or automation.



- Design new IT solutions, modify or enhance existing systems, and ensure alignment with business goals.



- Liaise with third parties and other IT staff to ensure system solutions are delivered effectively.



- Conduct feasibility studies, prepare system documentation, and develop system models (e.g., data flow diagrams).



- Support system integration, testing, and deployment activities.



- Train system users and provide support during and after implementation.



- Monitor proactively system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.



- Maintain the system administration



- Produce metrics from the system and create any gaps through our business intelligence tools.



- Stay up to date with technological developments and recommend new solutions or improvements.



- Look to identify end of life, ageing systems



- Continue to support mobilisation implementations as well as project implementations to maintain overall visibility of change in the team.



- End to end ownership and drive of the system analytics delivery



- Create reporting packs for the C suite re processes, data, interfaces and security.



Requirements :



- Experience with databases, data analysis, and systems integration.



- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile or Waterfall methodologies.



- Experience with ERP or CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce).



- Certification in business analysis or systems analysis (e.g., CBAP, IIBA. APMP/Agile).



- Experience with cloud technologies or modern data platforms
