About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket Administrator to join our Chennai team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and optimization of Atlassian tools, with hands-on expertise in Groovy scripting to automate and enhance workflows.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working closely with cross-functional teams to streamline project management and development processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Administer, configure, and maintain Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket environments to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.

- Manage user access controls, permissions, and roles across the Atlassian suite.

- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business teams to design and implement efficient Jira workflows, Confluence pages, and Bitbucket repositories.

- Develop and maintain Groovy scripts for automation, process optimization, and system customization.

- Create and manage dashboards, reports, and project tracking tools tailored to stakeholder needs.

- Troubleshoot and resolve system, integration, and user issues within Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.

- Conduct training sessions and develop documentation to promote best practices across teams.

- Evaluate new Atlassian updates and plugins, recommending and implementing relevant improvements.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience administering Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket in a corporate environment.

- Proficiency in Groovy scripting for customization and automation of Atlassian tools.

- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and project management workflows.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Familiarity with other development tools, CI/CD pipelines, or DevOps practices is an added advantage.

- Candidates must be currently based in Chennai.
