About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Senior Software Engineer (.NET, Python & AI) with 6 - 8 years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Microsoft .NET technologies, Python development, and AI/Generative AI solutions while being comfortable working as an Individual Contributor (IC).

The candidate must be passionate about coding, solution design, automation, and leveraging AI technologies to deliver innovative products and services. Experience in the Insurance domain and SaaS-based platforms will be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications and services using .NET and Python.

- Build and integrate AI-powered solutions leveraging Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Large Language Models (LLMs).

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications.

- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions.

- Implement best practices in coding, security, performance optimization, and software engineering.

- Develop AI-driven automation, intelligent workflows, chatbots, document-processing solutions, and predictive analytics applications.

- Work independently on development activities with minimal supervision.

- Participate in application architecture discussions and technical design reviews.

- Perform code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting, and production support.

- Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.

- Mentor junior developers when required while continuing as a hands-on contributor.

Technical Skills :

.NET Technologies : C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Entity Framework Core, LINQ, Dependency Injection, Multithreading, SQL Server.

Python Technologies : Python 3.x, FastAPI, Flask, Django, Pandas, NumPy.

AI / Generative AI Skills : Generative AI, LLMs, OpenAI/Azure OpenAI, Prompt Engineering, RAG, LangChain, AI Agents, Vector Databases, NLP.

Cloud & DevOps : Microsoft Azure, Azure Functions, Azure AI Services, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes.

Development Practices : Microservices, API Security, Git, TDD, Unit Testing, SonarQube.

Candidate Profile :

- 6 - 8 years of hands-on development experience.

- Strong expertise in both .NET and Python technologies.

- Proven experience in building and integrating AI/GenAI solutions.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Self-motivated and capable of working as an Individual Contributor.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

- Microsoft Azure Certifications.

- AI/ML or Generative AI certifications preferred.

- Experience with Insurance technology platforms is an added advantage.
