Synectics - Scrum Master - Jira/Confluence

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile teams and drive successful delivery of software projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Scrum and Agile methodologies, excellent communication skills, and experience working with distributed teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

- Act as a servant leader and coach to Agile teams, ensuring adherence to Agile principles and practices.

- Collaborate effectively with product owners, development teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.

- Manage and remove impediments to team progress proactively.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team and organization.

- Coordinate and manage cross-geographical collaboration with distributed/offshore teams.

- Utilize Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Rally, or Azure DevOps to track progress and report metrics.

- Support the team in delivering projects within agreed timelines and quality standards.

Key Skills & Qualifications :

- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.

- Strong understanding of Scrum framework and Agile methodologies including Kanban and SAFe.

- Experience working with distributed and offshore teams.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.

- Ability to identify, escalate, and resolve impediments effectively.

- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.

- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification preferred.

- Proficient in Agile project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Rally, Azure DevOps).

- Solid understanding of software development and delivery lifecycle.
