Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Java Lead Consultant to design, develop, and deliver scalable enterprise applications using Java and modern backend technologies. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and SQL, along with the ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor team members, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using Java and Spring Boot.

- Lead the development of Microservices-based architectures and RESTful APIs for enterprise applications.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions and system designs.

- Drive technical discussions, architecture reviews, and design decisions across development teams.

- Develop and optimize backend services with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability.

- Design and implement database solutions, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.

- Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across development, testing, and production environments.

- Mentor and support junior developers, promoting technical excellence and knowledge sharing.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, DevOps practices, and application modernization efforts.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 7-10 years of hands-on experience in Java application development.

- Strong expertise in :

2. Spring Framework

3. Spring Boot

4. RESTful Web Services

5. Microservices Architecture

- Strong experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.

- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Design Patterns, and Software Engineering principles.

- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and application performance optimization.

- Experience with Git and modern version control practices.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

- Knowledge of messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.

- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools, Generative AI, or AI-powered applications.

- Experience with NoSQL databases and distributed systems.
