Role : Sybase DBA

Location : Pan India (Remote)

Experience : 10-12 Years (7-8 Years relevant hands-on experience)

Notice Period : Immediate to 15 days

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide 24x7 support for Fidelitys Production database estate, including Production, Disaster Recovery, UAT, and Development environments.

- Handle daily Sybase ASE tasks, performance issue troubleshooting, and Sybase replication.

- Respond rapidly to high-severity incidents (Severity 1, 2, 3H).

- Support and deliver assigned project work while proactively detecting and resolving issues.

- Ensure service restoration after outages or disruptions.

- Provide technical support on shift, on-call, and rotational basis.

- Escalate issues when necessary to secure assistance from other Technology teams.

Experience & Qualifications :

- Strong hands-on experience in Sybase database administration in a production support environment.

- Experience in installation, configuration, monitoring, housekeeping, upgrades/patching, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.

- Proven ability to deliver reliable, high-performance, and highly available database environments.

Technical Skills :

- Sybase ASE 16.0

- Sybase Replication Server

- Troubleshooting & Performance Tuning

- Database Migration and Upgrade

- Backup, Restore, and Recovery
