Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement high-throughput ingestion pipelines using Logstash, Beats, Kafka, Redis, and JDBC.

- Lead on-prem to cloud (or hybrid) migrations and design for multi-region DR, snapshot strategies, and cross-cluster search.

- Define and enforce enterprise-grade security using X-Pack, LDAP/SAML, TLS encryption, RBAC, and audit logging policies.

- Optimize ingestion and indexing performance for multi-TB/day data loads, supporting 100+ concurrent pipelines.

- Collaborate with senior stakeholders and platform leadership to align architectural decisions

with business goals.

- Mentor engineers and promote best practices in DevOps, observability, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance through deep diagnostics and

JVM/Linux tuning.

Required Skills & Expertise :

- Ingestion & Pipeline Engineering : Deep hands-on with Logstash, Beats, Kafka, Redis, JDBC input plugins.

- Security & Compliance : X-Pack, LDAP/SAML integration, TLS/SSL, RBAC enforcement, and compliance audits.

- Visualization & Access Control : Kibana dashboards, Kibana Spaces, role-based data access.

- Infrastructure & Cloud : Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, and Elastic

Cloud on AWS/Azure/GCP.

- Performance Tuning : JVM optimization, heap sizing, garbage collection, index tuning, and Linux internals.

- Collaboration & Leadership : Proven ability to lead architecture reviews, coach engineers, and drive technical consensus across teams.
