SutiSoft - Manual & Automation Test Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Manual & Automation Test Engineer with 0- 2 years of experience; who can design, develop, and execute test plans to ensure product quality. The role involves strong analytical skills, hands-on testing experience, and the ability to work closely with the development team to deliver high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to create detailed test plans and test cases.

- Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, system, and integration testing.

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium/ TestNG/JUnit/Playwright/Cypress.

- Identify, log, and track defects in tools like JIRA/Bugzilla/Azure DevOps.

- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA leads to clarify requirements and resolve issues.

- Participate in test planning, estimation, and review meetings.

- Execute API testing using Postman/ REST Assured.

- Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks.

- Ensure high-quality releases by running automated regression suites.

- Prepare test reports and communicate test results effectively to stakeholders.

Required Skills :

1. Manual Testing Skills :

- Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.

- Experience in writing test cases, test scenarios, and test reports.

- Good understanding of functional, regression, and integration testing.

- Knowledge of database concepts and SQL queries for data validation.

2. Automation Testing Skills :

- Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress).

- Good understanding of test automation frameworks (POM, Hybrid, Data-driven).

- Programming skills in Java/Python/JavaScript is required.

- Ability to debug automation scripts and maintain the test suite.

3. Other Skills :

- 0- 2 years of relevant experience is required; internship is an added advantage to the candidates.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

- Good communication and documentation skills.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.

- Team player with a proactive approach.

4. Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure).

- Experience in version control systems like Git.

5. Educational Skills :

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other equivalent.
