About the Role :


- We are looking for a skilled IMPS Payment Application Support Specialist to manage and support our IMPS (Immediate Payment Service) payment applications.


- The ideal candidate will have strong experience in application support within banking/payment domains, ensuring high availability, smooth operations, and timely issue resolution.


- You will work closely with development teams, operations, and stakeholders to maintain a seamless payments experience.


Key Responsibilities :


- Provide end-to-end application support for IMPS payment systems.


- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents related to payment transactions, system downtime, and application performance.


- Collaborate with development and QA teams to resolve defects and implement fixes.


- Analyze logs, transaction failures, and system alerts to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.


- Ensure timely and accurate processing of IMPS payments and other related banking transactions.


- Participate in on-call rotations for critical production support.


- Work closely with business users and stakeholders to understand requirements and support enhancements.


- Prepare and maintain support documentation, incident reports, and SLA compliance reports.


- Coordinate with third-party vendors, banking partners, and internal teams for seamless payment operations.


- Implement process improvements to enhance system reliability, efficiency, and user experience.


Technical Skills Required :


- Strong experience in IMPS payment systems or banking payment applications.


- Knowledge of payment protocols, transaction processing, and settlement procedures.


- Experience in application support tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy) and monitoring solutions.


- Understanding of databases (SQL/Oracle) for transaction tracking and issue resolution.


- Familiarity with integration points, APIs, and messaging queues used in payment systems.


- Basic understanding of core banking systems and payment regulatory guidelines.


- Experience with troubleshooting, incident management, and problem-solving in production environments.


Soft Skills :


- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.


- Excellent communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.


- Team player with a proactive approach to issue resolution.


Educational Qualification :
