About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium, Java, and API testing. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of automation frameworks, quality engineering practices, and end-to-end testing processes. Experience with Playwright is not mandatory, but it will be considered a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium with Java.

- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar.

- Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, test case design, and test execution.

- Work closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand features and ensure high-quality delivery.

- Develop and maintain automation frameworks and reusable components.

- Identify, log, and track defects to closure using standard bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).

- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tooling, and best practices.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.

- Provide test metrics, project status updates, and ensure timely delivery of QA deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5-8 years of professional experience in software testing (manual + automation).

- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java.

- Solid understanding of API testing (REST/SOAP) using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.

- Good understanding of automation frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, Page Object Model, BDD is a plus).

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git.

- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
