The Role : Product Owner

Responsibilities :

- Domain expertise in Financial sector (Banking/Insurance/Brokerage)

- Own the Product and Work with customers to define Product strategy, Developing product ideas with stakeholders.

- Defining the features of the product according to customer requirements.

- Leading the development process by creating a product roadmap based on this vision.

- Serving as the main point of contact between Engineering teams and stakeholders.

- Review product features at all stages of product creation including design and development.

- Organising and ranking the items in the product backlog according to requirements.

- Helping the scrum/product development team achieve each sprints goals.

- Before the product is released, each iteration is adjusted and improved.

- Locating areas that want improvement.

- Informing stakeholders and customers about the products status.

Basic Qualifications :

- 8+ years of related work experience in Finance Domain as Product Owner

- Excellent understanding of the Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodologies.

- Great decision making skills. The product owner, a senior member of a product development team, is accountable for making a number of decisions every day.

- Practical experience with product development architecture.

- Strong knowledge of how to employ analytical tools.

- Ability to prioritise the product development process.

- Excellent understanding of the principles of user-centred design.

- Excellent communication, both written and spoken, for collaborating with different teams.

- Working well in huge teams.

- Knowledge of design quality guidelines.

- Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies.

- Good organisational skills.

- Creative and innovative thinking.

Preferred Qualifications :

- PMI or Prince Certification Product Management Certification

- SAFe PMPO certification a plus
